This biennial event, part of the FISU Summer World University Games series, is a global celebration of international university sports and culture, attracting thousands of student-athletes from around the world.
Embracing the FISU motto of "Excellence in Mind and Body," this edition of the FISU World University Games goes beyond sports competitions, incorporating educational and cultural elements. It encourages student-athletes to seamlessly blend high sports performance with intellectual pursuits, fostering a holistic development approach.
The twelve-day competition program features fifteen compulsory sports, with organizers having the flexibility to include up to three optional sports from the FISU Recognized Sports list and the FISU World University Championships program, reflecting a commitment to staying at the forefront of sports development and innovation.
