UniUSA Announces 2026/27 FISU Student Ambassadors

Brynn Wisniewski and Matthew O’Callaghan selected to represent the United States in an international programme dedicated to advancing university sports and developing the next generation of student leaders.

October 19, 2026 — UniUSA is proud to announce the selection of Brynn Wisniewski and Matthew O’Callaghan as its representatives in the 2026/27 International University Sports Federation (FISU) Student Ambassadors Programme.

The programme brings together student leaders from around the world to support the development and promotion of university sports, encourage international collaboration, and strengthen connections within the global university sports community.

As FISU Student Ambassadors, Wisniewski and O’Callaghan will work alongside UniUSA to help advance university sports in the United States while collaborating with fellow ambassadors and programme leaders internationally.

Their selection marks the beginning of an ambassador term focused on leadership, engagement, and expanding awareness of the opportunities university sports provide to students.

Connecting Student Leaders Across the Globe

Through the FISU Student Ambassadors Programme, participants become part of an international community dedicated to strengthening university sports and fostering meaningful connections across borders.

Wisniewski and O’Callaghan will join a FISU network with alumni spanning more than 150 countries, providing opportunities to exchange ideas, develop leadership skills, and contribute to initiatives that support the continued growth of university sports.

Both ambassadors have completed their initial interviews with programme recruiters and are preparing to begin working with their respective team leaders and UniUSA.
